Personality Types Chart & Calculator
There are 16 different personalities that your Miis can take on in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream! They aren’t random — you can choose a Mii’s personality depending on how you adjust the Mii’s Movement, Speech, Energy, and Thinking sliders during creation.
However, the game doesn’t display the calculations or what personality a Mii will receive until after creating them, so it can appear to be random or a mystery. Using the personality chart and calculator below, you can determine which slider settings will get your Mii which personality. You can also pick a personality type to see the sliders to copy for that result.
Note that some regions have different personality names, so use the toggle to address this if you’re seeing names that don’t match up with your game. Also, the Overall slider setting does not affect a Mii’s personality and has been excluded from the calculator accordingly.
Finally, remember that you can change a Mii’s personality at any time in the Residents menu by editing them! You aren’t locked in by any means.
